Message from the Minister
Welcome
to the 2008 Mildura Jazz, Food and Wine Festival.
This unique event highlights Victoria’s love of culture and the arts and
provides an opportunity to showcase the beauty of the Mildura region.
Mildura is one of the Murray’s most vibrant communities, with stunning
landscapes and world-class food and wine attracting visitors from around the
globe. It is the perfect place to unwind and soak up the atmosphere of an exciting
event such as this.
Over four days, visitors will be treated to a variety of jazz styles from some
of Australia’s leading musicians.
Many of the district’s riverside wineries and parks will come alive with
the tastes of local produce and a jazz program that is sure to delight music
lovers.
The Victorian Government has supported the Festival for eight years and is proud
to be associated with an event that attracts visitors and provides economic benefits
to the region.
I hope you enjoy the 2008 Mildura Jazz, Food and Wine Festival.
