Interpreti Veneziani Baroque Ensemble
Interpreti VenezianiBe transported from the banks of the Murray to Venice Playing original instruments, specialising in mostly Baroque music, the talent of the members, their expertise as soloists and ensemble musicians and the high level of performances have earned Interpreti Veneziani an indisputable reputation in Venice.

Playing up to 350 concerts a year to 60,000 subscribers in the San Vidal Church, the Interpreti is an ensemble beloved by many for their exuberance and all Italian-brio. With a schedule like that, their tours are infrequent, but the Interpreti most certainly does tour far and wide with appearances in the Bayreuth Festival and concerts in Stockholm's Royal Palace; in Leningrad's Belozelsky Hall; a concert at the Osaka Symphony Hall, Japan; concerts in the USA, Istanbul, Venezuela and the Bahamas, Algeria and Mexico. Their dedication to this music is palpable & the vitality of their concerts, unforgettable.

Zephyr Quartet
Zephyr QuartetThe Zephyr Quartet is a South Australian based string quartet dedicated to introducing new audiences to the quartet medium and to showing the versatility of this medium to existing audiences.

Zephyr promotes and encourages emerging and established artists by commissioning and performing new works. Zephyr creates new and interesting explorations in the use of a string quartet in modern art forms and invites collaborations.

Zephyr has a passion for all styles of music and is able to present an eclectic array of music suitable for any occasion. Zephyr has received tuition from the Takacs Quartet, the Australian String Quartet and at the National Academy of Music, performed at festivals including the Adelaide Festival, Adelaide Fringe, WOMADelaide, Barossa Music Festival and the Glenelg Jazz Festival and has presented concert series from 2004 to 2007 to great critical acclaim.

Belinda Gehlert and Emily Tulloch, violins, Anna Webb, viola and Hilary Kleinig, cello performed with the band.

Freshwater Trio
Freshwater TrioFormed in Melbourne in 2006 by three prominent Melbourne musicians, who together bring a unique collaborative and energetic style to chamber music performance. They have performed widely on radio and been invited to perform in a variety of music series and festivals including; in the prestigious Castlemaine State Festival, Port Fairy Spring Festival, Macedon Music Series, at BMW Edge in Federation Square, Ballarat Art Gallery, ‘Music at St. Silas' Series, British Music Society Series, Camberwell Music Society, Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Concerts, Melba Conservatorium Series, and the University of Melbourne Lunch Hour Concerts.

Their series at Melba Hall has been widely acclaimed by public and peers alike. Their interpretations have been described as “fearless” and “innovative” (The Age ) and Herald Sun's Xenia Hanusiak commented ‘With its effusive spirit, Freshwater Trio appears determined to make a lasting impression.'

Anthony Halliday
Anthony HallidaySeveral compositions have been commissioned from Anthony Halliday including large scale masses and motets for soloists choir and orchestra, which have been performed in Germany, France, Italy, Britain, and Australasia. In 2006 Anthony Halliday was commissioned by Dr. Murray Stapleton of Cantor Productions, to orchestrate and arrange 15 traditional hymns for the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra.

This was performed in the Irish Songs of Praise concert at the Melbourne Town Hall in August 2006 and due to popular request will be repeated in 2007. He has received many awards and prizes including all the Fellowship prizes at the Royal College of Organists (London), as well as the Silver Medal of The Worshipful Company of Musicians (London). He won first prize playing Bartok's second piano concerto in the A.B.C. Commonwealth Concerto Competition, and has given live broadcasts for BBC Radio. His recent CD of organ music includes works of Bach, Duruflé, Widor, and his own composition.

His recent CD of piano music features a fantasy for piano by Australian composer, Anthony Shafton, and works by Händel, Beethoven, and Liszt. He has also recorded all 32 sonatas for pianoforte by Beethoven.

Anthony Halliday has given numerous piano recitals, organ recitals and concerto performances throughout Europe and Australasia. He won critical praise from several international renowned conductors including Walter Susskind, who hailed his concerto playing as "magnificent".

He held several cathedral and church appointments in London, and toured his choir to Germany, Austria, and Italy.

Danny Spooner
Danny SpoonerSinger of traditional and contemporary folk songs of Britain and Australia - solo acoustic singer, guitar and concertina.

In recent years he's sung at festivals, clubs and house concerts in Europe, England, Canada and the USA. But for 40 years in Australia audiences have enjoyed his concert brackets, workshops and one-man shows, his deep multi-disciplinary understanding of social history, his personal warmth, and his immense repertoire of songs covering the full range of human emotions, endeavours and experiences… He is a spellbinder.
